If you do not have the simplest of interest about the movie industry and the technical aspects which makes it so special you will not find anything in this. But if you’re the kind who believe that movies are a form of magic that makes the human kind significant as artistic beings then this is for you. And it mainly concentrates on one aspect of movie making. That’s the medium of its preliminary form of capturing images. The conversation is built upon the traditional yet still prominent film medium and the new and improving digital medium and post process of both. There are many well known names in the industry participate by giving their opinions and sharing experience of working with both mediums. Names such as George Lucas, Martin Scoresese, James Cameron, Steven Soderbergh and many other directors, cinematographers, editors etc. It creates a balance between the old and the new while controversially discuss the destructions the industry currently face due to the popularization of the digital mediums and equipment that eats in to the creativity which ones stood to be the most important element.

 

 

මෙය වාර්තාමය චිත්‍රපටියක්. එයින් කතා කෙරෙන්නේ පැරණි නමුත් සිනමාවේ මුල් ජීවය වුනු පටල පටයත් එමෙන්ම නුතන නැගී එන digital තාක්ෂණයත් නිසා සිනමා කර්මාන්තයෙහි සිදු වුනු සහ සිදු වෙමින් පවතින වෙනස් කම්. ඔබ සිනමාව ගැන යම් තරමක හෝ ආදරයක් සහ ඇල්මක් ඇති අයෙකුනම් සහ සිනමාවේ තාක්ෂණික හුරුව ගැන යම් තරමක දැනීමක් ඇති අයෙකුනම් පමණි ඔබට මෙහි සැබෑ අරුත සහ වටිනාකම දැනෙන්නේ. එය හුදෙක් වාර්තාමය චිත්‍රපටියකට වඩා මනුෂ්‍යය වර්ගයාගේ මනා කලාත්මක හැකියාවන් ඉදිරිපත් කල හැකි හදවතට ඉතා සමීප සිනමා මාධ්‍යය ගැන කෙරෙන කාලෝචිත විග්‍රහයක්. මෙහි අද සිනමාවේ ඉහලින් කියවෙන අධ්‍යක්ෂවරු සහ අනෙකුත් ශිල්පින් ගොඩකගේ අදහස් ඉදිරිපත් කෙරෙනවා. ඒ අතර ජේම්ස් කැමරොන්, ජෝජ් ලුකස්, ස්ටීවන් සෝඩර්බෙර්ග්, මාටින් ස්කොසේසේ වැනි පල පුරුදු අධ්‍යක්ෂවරුන් විශේෂයි. කලෙක සිනමාව ඉතා සුවිශේෂ කළා මාධ්‍යයක් ලෙස සැලකුනද නුතන digital තාක්ෂනය නිසා එහි ඇති වී තිබෙන උද්යෝගය නිසාම එයින් ගිලිහි යන නිර්මාණශිලිත්වය ගැනත් මෙහි කතා වෙනවා.
