This is that certain type of
movie where you know how exactly its gonna go but still staring at the screen
eagerly till everything becomes true. Due to its artistic and dramatic nature
and the fitting cinematography there is truly something to look for as well.
A young and beautiful foreign
exchange student arrives in a small town of upstate New York. She is hosted by
a family who values relationships and bond. But soon she seems to be disturbing
the balance of many who she comes in contact with, especially the people of the
place where she lives.
There are some subtle yet good
performances here. Guy Pearce being the lead seems to be a well fit. And
Felicity Jones brings in her beauty of youth filling in the dark corners with a
shimmering light. But still the movie evolves in to darkness moment by moment.
As I mentioned before there are no surprises in the story. I’d say Breathe In is a good movie but not
anything new. And you might forget is quite fast as well. But still you will
enjoy it while it lasts.
