There was once Casper who was a friendly ghost. And now here comes
Barnabas Collins the good hearted but a blood sucking vampire. What’s important is he is not who he is by
choice but by curse. Johnny Depp wittingly and charmingly breathes life to this
hideous character which is one strong point for the flick. And then the other element
such as attention to detail, dark cinematography and the fun in the script
gladly follows. Though it’s not a horror by all means it still can give you a
scare or two when you least expect it. But it will put a smile on your ugly
face most of the time! And wait till you see the sex scene.

රංගනයන් සහ තේමාවකින් මේ චිත්‍රපටිය හැඩ වෙනවා. ජොනි ඩෙප්ගේ අද්විතීය රංගන
දායකත්වයෙන් තවත් විශේෂ වන Dark Shadows හොඳ නිෂ්පාදන වටිනාකමකින් යුතු එකක්. ත්‍රාසය,
කුතුහලය සහ විනෝදය එකට කැටි කරගත් චිත්‍රපටියක්යය් කීම වඩාත් නිවැරදි.
